THE VISION |
| JOHN-PAUL EVANGELISTIC MINISTRIES originated in Indianapolis, IN., led by Rev. John-Paul Chestnut. Brother John had a vision to go into all the world and preach the GOSPEL. This commitment to go and serve GOD wherever he is sent has taken John and his Evangelistic team into the streets of the great city of Indianapolis, into the towns and cities all over the state of Indiana, and it's surrounding states. John-Paul's Evangelistic Ministry preaches the Word of GOD in the Prisons, in Nursing Homes, in the homes of the sick or Handicapped. The John-Paul Evangelistic Ministries are also involved in many other outreach ministries. Rev. John preaches at Church Revivals, and great Tent Meetings!! |
WHO IS JOHN-PAUL? |
| Many years ago, Rev. John-Paul was called into the Gospel ministry where he has pastored and taught in many churches. John-Paul accepted the LORD at the age of 12 years old. As John grew into a man, and walked with the Lord, he found himself one day lost in a battlefield in a place called Viet Nam. John and five of his men were saved from death that day. John was wounded many times in Viet Nam and in that hour of crisis, when death was again staring him in the face, when they could fight no longer, and the sky was burning orange from Napalm bombs; burning like it was a look into HELL. When all that could be done was done, John threw away his weapons and knelt, praying to Jesus to save him. Miraculously, the sky was filled with Helicopters and Medivac units. John and those 5 men, who were with him that hour, were delivered out of death. When John returned home the LORD laid a burden upon his heart to preach the gospel and to tell others about Jesus. And as he grew in the LORD, the Lord laid the burden in his heart to start a new work, a new ministry to reach the world. |
